When I first saw that video published by Aljazeera on Facebook one year ago, I was very proud and happy to see a Moroccan girl piercing her way to one of the most ingenious, and valuable agencies on the planet. I was amazed that these days’ young generation is not only distracted by the massif influence of celebrities and trifles. Some of them are actually keen to explore a field that every atom of our culture goes against it: Space.
we force ourselves every single day to wake up early, get dressed, have a hasty breakfast, commute to work, and perform monotonous tasks all the day long, only to get back home awfully exhausted, ready to do one thing: sink into the couch, eat, and watch TV until we fall asleep.
“Believe in yourself!”, “Be confident!”, or “Have faith!” are all phrases that seem to contain a powerful message and an inspirational motivation, but they turn out in practice to be as weightless as the piece of paper they’re written on. In fact, trying to channel power and energy to believe in oneself would only arouse confusion, doubt, and fear.
Tell me frankly: what has been your personal goal in life so far? I mean other than getting through the day with your 9 to 5 or 6 full time job, and other than doing the chores, eating and sleeping only to do it all over again the day after?
